Position: Lightworks – Post-Production Specialist

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $50–$100/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Review and evaluate system-generated instructions for non-linear editing workflows, including trimming, edit operations, and media organization. Assess system understanding of advanced Lightworks features such as console editing, multi-camera workflows, and VFX routing. Validate export and delivery formats to ensure compatibility with professional editing standards and workflows. Test and troubleshoot system assistance across advanced post-production scenarios, including metadata and project collaboration. Provide expert feedback to improve visual effects workflows and color grading processes. Document findings and communicate insights clearly to support continuous workflow improvement.

Requirements

Advanced expertise in Lightworks with strong proficiency in keyboard-driven editing workflows. Deep knowledge of video production and post-production techniques. Strong experience in media management, including proxy workflows and asset organization. Hands-on experience with visual effects and color grading. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex post-production issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
