Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Engineer / Sr Sales Engineer – Process Systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5- 10 plus years of experience in sales engineering within the process equipment industry, with a deep understanding of Process Filtration ,Separation, Heat transfer, Static Equipment’s in Oil and Gas sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical and sales skills, capable of driving business growth and managing key client relationships effectively.
Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth in the Process Filtration, Separation , Heat transfer , Static Equipment’s products.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and qualification of potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
2. Technical Expertise:
- Provide in-depth technical knowledge and expertise to clients, addressing their needs and recommending optimal solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations to showcase the benefits and features of our products.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights and stay ahead in the market.
3. Proposal and Quotation Management:
- Collaborate with the proposal team to develop accurate and competitive quotations for clients, ensuring alignment with their requirements.
- Review and analyse client specifications, drawings, and project scopes to provide tailored solutions and detailed proposals.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions, and close sales deals effectively.
4. Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, managing relationships and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely resolution of technical and operational issues.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings and service delivery.
5. Market and Business Development:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential areas for business expansion.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and strategies to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
6. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of projects and customer satisfaction.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales engineers and other team members.
Job Specific Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 plus years of experience in sales engineering or a similar role within the oil & gas industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in Process Filtration, Separation , Heat transfer , Static Equipment’s products .
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to understand applications.
- Proven track record of successful sales performance and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and manage key accounts effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
Skills & Competencies:
- Experience in managing large-scale projects and contracts.
- Familiarity with international standards and regulations related to electrical equipment.
Experience:
The Experience range should be 5- 10 plus years.
