Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner to drive transformative change at the Arab Center and Doha Institute. As a senior-level professional, you will be critical in architecting operational excellence, leading complex digital transformation initiatives, and establishing strategic alignment between business units and technology solutions. You will serve as a key strategic partner, translating intricate business challenges into innovative, scalable technology roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Analysis and Planning:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide business analysis methodologies and best practices.
- Architect end-to-end business requirements aligned with long-term organizational strategic objectives.
- Design and implement advanced governance frameworks for requirement management and product development.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and subject matter experts to elicit requirements and streamline business processes.
- Document user requirements and functional specifications, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze business requests, assess their impact, and provide insightful recommendations.
- Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Product Management:
- Define project scope, objectives, options, and tasks in collaboration with project managers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product features, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint review sessions.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
- Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure delivered features meet business requirements.
- Support quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Stakeholder Management and Communication:
- Mentor and coach junior business analysts and product team members in advanced analysis techniques.
- Conduct sophisticated stakeholder engagement, including executive-level communication and consensus-building.
- Develop comprehensive business cases with deep financial and operational impact assessment.
- Establish and maintain robust communication channels between senior leadership, business units, and technology teams.
- Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent is required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business analysis, product management, and strategic consulting.
- Demonstrated track record of leading complex, high-impact transformation initiatives
- Extensive experience in Agile and enterprise-scale product development methodologies
- Proven ability to operate effectively at strategic and operational levels
