Job Description

  • Check machine before the production begins
  • Monitor and control the machine performance and settings
  • Load and unload forming machine with appropriate materials to facilitate production requirements
  • Feed raw materials into semi-automated machines and ensure proper packing of product is done
  • Check the output of the machines and identify any issues
  • Ensure the machines are regularly checked and cleaned
  • Monitors machine and report for any mechanical problems
  • Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to ensure quality standards
  • Can advance to completing set up and change over procedures of the moulds and fixtures
  • Regularly conduct tests of the machine’s performance and operating capacity
  • Fix any issues or malfunctions that may occur
  • Regularly submit performance reports of machines to immediate supervisor
  • Work effectively with other members of the department/plant to achieve production goals
  • Keep machines and surrounding area clean while maintaining a safe work environment and ensure safety of the team
  • Work safely with all quality, safety, work rules and regulations in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Perform other job-related duties as directed by supervisor
