As an Innovation Senior Developer at SITA Lab, you'll ideate and design demos, prototypes, and MVPs, working closely with our clients to bring innovative ideas to life. This role offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in emerging technologies, design transformative solutions.
What You Will Do
- Get involved in the software development process from top to bottom - hands on.
- Lead technical decision making and mentor junior developers
- Architect solutions; write code; write tests; manage build pipelines; debug deployment infrastructure;
- You will do this independently and as part of a team.
- You love to stay up to date on software development best practices
- Communicate effectively with technical team and business stakeholders and our customers.
- Have fun creating the future with an amazing team.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
- Strong experience with highly scalable distributed micro-service systems
- Strong experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka and cloud-native deployments (AWS, Azure).
- Strong experience with Spring boot, or similar frameworks.
- Strong experience with REST & Websocket messaging patterns and libraries.
- Experience with Java/Springboot.
- Strong object-oriented software analysis and good analytical skills.
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and Elastic Search.
- Familiarity with Python and machine learning model training and deployment.

- Someone able to design, build and debug a highly scalable messaging solution, and explain its value to business stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years' software engineering experience, ideally in Java, C++, or similar.
- Strong communicator skilled in facilitating discussions, building consensus, and articulating priorities with clarity.
- Bonus: Professional programming certification in a mainstream language.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering.
