Position Overview:
The Admissions Manager/Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the admissions team, ensuring that service levels are met and applications are effectively managed. This role involves guiding the sales team on educational path options, monitoring application outcomes, and supporting the professional development of admissions staff through training and mentorship. The manager will also resolve issues and complaints, provide reports to management, and collaborate with other departments as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for managing the admissions team on a day-to-day basis to ensure agreed service levels are met.
- Deliver the correct educational path options to the sales team.
- Monitor Applications Outcomes.
- Support the development of the admissions team.
- Deliver training to staff as needed.
- Provide reports to the Management as required.
- Resolve issues and complaints with the staff and schools.
- A team player who will provide support as required to other areas within the team.
Required Skills:
- Experience working in a supervisory role.
- Experience of working in the student recruitment industry whether as an admissions or counsellor.
- Quick-witted with a strong ability to think outside the box and find innovative solutions to challenges.
- Very high research skills.
- Negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work with a team and under pressure.
- Hard/fast worker with very high focusing skills
- Excellent English, writing, speaking, and reading
- Experience with CRM systems/customer databases.
