Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an IBM Maximo Specialist at Cody Software Solutions in Amman. The IBM Maximo Specialist will be responsible for supervising tasks related to application development, Business Intelligence tools, and database management. This includes managing system upgrades, organizing data analysis processes, contributing to policy and procedure development, and staying up to date with the latest digital advancements.
Responsibilities
Strong experience with configuration and administration for IBM Maximo.
Working experience with MAS-8 is a plus.
Deep functional knowledge of Maximo modules such as Asset Management, Work Management, Workflow Administration, Contract Management, Inventory, Purchasing, and more.
Responsible for application support, testing, and configuration changes.
Strong knowledge of the Maximo mobile app.
Experience in application design, including creating custom applications, fields, and modifying default applications.
Knowledge of GL accounts configuration.
Proficient in XML for application design, SQL for relationships, and scripting languages like Jython, Python, and JavaScript for automation.
Experience with BIRT reporting to create and customize reports.
Skilled in developing result sets, dashboards, and KPIs.
Experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), including object structures, external systems, publish channels, and endpoints.
Strong understanding of services for data integration between Maximo and external systems.
Experience with Maximo data loading via MIF and MXLoader.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Minimum of 4 years of experience, with at least 3 years in the operation and maintenance field.
