The ideal candidate is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of both customer-facing and internal systems as well as providing technical assistance to team members with system and network requests.

Responsibilities

• Designing and planning the network layout including connecting main offices with branch locations, Cabling, location of terminations points, subnets, servers, routers, switches, IP address allocation to networks and hosts
• Ensure high internet availability all over the company including external locations.
• Ensure network security .
• Monitor & analyze network performance and solve any bottlenecks and weaknesses
• Manage User account, Permissions, Access policy etc.
• Administer thing related to Domain names, DNS Zones, Hosting etc.
• Implementing Disaster Recovery plans and backup policies.
• Recommend new hardware purchases or upgrades to network peripherals such as Servers, PCs, Printers, Routers, Switches, T&A Machines
• Provide technical support
• Provide feasibility studies for new technologies as advised by the IT Head.
• Make sure infrastructure is up to date with the latest releases and updates.

Qualifications and Skills :

• BSc degree in Network Engineering and Security or IT related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration.
• Having skills in MPLS, Network Protocols
• Network architecture and administration WAN, LAN, VPN etc.
• Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Microsoft In Tune administration
• Teamwork, keen to learn, and committed to deliverables
