IT Manager Salesforce Effectiveness

Role Purpose:


The IT Senior Manager, Salesforce Effectiveness is a skilled professional who oversees the successful development, implementation, adoption, and ongoing management of business solutions and systems with strong project management, communication, analytical skills and collaboration with business and cross-functional teams to maximize the business value derived from enterprise solutions and systems.



Role Accountabilities:



  • Shape, lead and oversee a ‘future proof’ sales and field merchandising Transmed business vision, technology strategy and capabilities roadmap with significant decision-making latitude
  • Oversees the sales and fields merchandising IT projects portfolio, identify and recommend IT applications and solutions features based on business value, overall strategies and priorities
  • Develop awareness and understanding of external trends and insights related to sales and fields merchandising processes and relevant Transmed business IT technologies
  • Shape and help define the expected value impact of technology sales and fields merchandising investments across customers and suppliers experience, operational excellence and efficiency
  • Bridge the gap between technology applications and business requirements, foster collaboration to deliver business strategic-fit best-in-class solutions
  • Act as the primary trusted advisor to senior sales, fields and technology leadership across all life cycles of technology application and solutions (inception to value realization)
  • Serve as subject matter expert for sales and fields Transmed business IT enterprise applications and solutions
  • Lead the design and applications development efforts incorporating an approach that starts with validating expected business impact, agile principles, end to end business process optimizations
  • Understand and translate business needs faced by the sales and fields merchandising teams into a value case and comprehensive set of technological solutions, data, process, and users experience
  • Partner with business to ensure applications are oriented to business growth and measurable key performance indicators, user-friendly, reliable systems and excellence in support operations
  • Partnering with sales and fields leadership and IT architecture team to define and map the architecture and role of systems and processes within the overall IT business landscape and capabilities
  • Collaborate closely with business and technology partners to develop roadmaps, prioritize capabilities, features, and release activities
  • Estimate applications development efforts levels and resources to prioritize requirements
  • Ensure applications and solutions development activities adhere to the highest standards of user experience, documentation, quality, security, and compliance requirements
  • Embrace Agile principles and practices, lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and ensure efficient applications and solutions development and delivery
  • Lead a team of sales and fields technology expertise across multiple domains and locations
  • Lead the management of vendors relationships to influence the successful sales and fields roadmap and ensure that Transmed business needs will be met by technology partners
  • Assesses and enhances high availability and disaster recovery plans in order to ensure IT solutions, systems and services continuity
  • Designs and develops training programs for business and IT ensuring consistent knowledge transfer


Role Requirements:


Academic Education & Professional Certifications:


  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Business Computer, Computer Science, Information Systems, master degree is preferred.
  • Industry-recognized certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Salesforce certifications, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Agile Project Manager (IAPM), Certified Software Project Manager (CSPM), Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) is preferred
  • 10+ years of working experience in an IT enterprise applications development and support environment
  • IT experience in FMCG Business Applications with deep understanding of business processes.


Operational & Managerial Experience:


  • Extensive experience in an IT enterprise applications and business solutions, with a track record of successfully leading related IT programs and initiatives
  • Strong expertise in IT applications development and product management methodologies, frameworks and tools
  • Technical expertise in applications and technology solutions supporting business processes including Customer Relationship Management (CRM), opportunity and lead management, purchase order management, customer data management, sales automation, budget and funds management, omnichannel pricing and discount management, trade promotion management, field merchandising and image capture, rebate management, commercial agreement, deployment plan, customer service and support, workflow automation, mobile accessibility, e-Commerce
  • Data-driven attitude, integrating data insights into applications development for improved decision-making
  • Experience with UX/UI, user-centered design, and prototyping is preferred


Technical Skills & Knowledge:


  • Designing and Developing queries on Oracle & Microsoft SQL
  • Participates in design, configuration, develops working code, and oversee quality testing and users acceptance
  • Responsible for delivering high quality working software
  • Strong project management knowledge of methodologies like Agile or Scrum and practical application, proven track records of delivery in complex, fast changing environment.
  • Drives planning, execution and manages the resources, schedule, financials scope of business solutions and relates projects
  • Change Management: Ability to manage and lead a constantly and rapidly changing business environment
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the Consumer Goods / Food Service industry
