Job Description & Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Senior Officer to join our operations team. This role is pivotal in managing the entire procurement cycle, specializing in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, purchase order (PO) cycle, and contracting.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in implementing best practices and driving efficiency in our procurement operations.

RFQ/RFP Management

Lead the end-to-end RFQ/RFP processes, ensuring timely and accurate issuance, evaluation, and award of contracts.

Purchase Order Cycle

Manage the PO cycle from requisition to closure, ensuring compliance with company policies and accurate record-keeping.

Contracting Process

Oversee the contracting process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks.

Best Practices Implementation

Develop and implement procurement best practices to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve supplier relationships.

Data Analysis And Reporting

Utilize applications such as Power BI and Tableau to analyze procurement data and maintain up-to-date dashboards for informed decision-making.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, provide procurement support, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Supplier Management

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conduct performance reviews, and implement strategies to enhance supplier performance and reliability.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement operations.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Engineering or Business Management with a certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)).
  • Proven experience in managing RFQ/RFP processes, PO cycles, and contracting within a complex organizational structure.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI and Tableau.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a focus on achieving favorable terms and mitigating risks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
