KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Prepare target oriented Short and Long Term plans for the maintenance of HVAC & Insulation in line with the overall Business Objectives.
• Establish and maintain a detailed inventory of all the HVAC assets.
• Assist the Business Units in preparing their HVAC & Insulation related budgets and Short and Long term plans.
• Prepare the necessary budget for work handled within his assignment.
• Provide necessary HVAC & Insulation technical support to offshore sites.
• Carry out studies aimed at resolving HVAC & Insulation maintenance relate problems in order to improve equipment performance, reliability and reduce their maintenance and operating costs.
• Prepare the technical scope for maintenance activities and ensure availability of maintenance contract for all new equipment related to HVAC & Insulation.
• Assist in preparation and review of technical specifications related to HVAC equipment and insulation purchasing.
• Follow-up on contractor’s performance on site to ensure proper and timely execution of works.
• Monitor the performance and status of HVAC equipment and Insulation and issue the necessary recommendations aimed at optimizing the maintenance of the related installations on site.
• Liaise with the manufacturers to stay up-to date with the latest advancement in the fields of HVAC &Thermal insulation.
• Ensure that all HSE related issues are incorporated in the scope of works and adhered to by the contractors carrying out the HVAC & Insulation works.
• Ensure that all the Ozone depleting CFC based equipment are replaced/modified as per the latest revision of the Montreal Protocol.
• Prepare HVAC Equipment and insulations Integrity status and replacement plan.
• Provide technical advice on all HVAC related issues within the business unit.
• Review/evaluate all new HVAC projects related to plant expansion and for new units.
• Carryout warranty surveys on all insulation works before the expiry of contract warranty.
• Assist in trouble shooting and RCA of failures related to HVAC equipment.
• Performs other related duties such as initiating/originating stores requisitions/purchase orders, writing technical reports, hand-over notes, maintaining daily logs and work records.
• Contribute to preparation of long term & short term HVAC system maintenance plans.
• Provide budget input to planning team related to HVAC equipment maintenance requirements.
• Maintain updated knowledge/awareness of the Company HSE procedure, rules and regulations and abide by them at all times.
• Support Emiratization Program through training and development of UAE national junior employees in the role of Mentor/coach/assessor etc in line with Company approved development program.
