We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects.

• Prepare technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
• Develop plans for construction, including the layout, materials, dimensions, and specifications.
• Collaborate with civil engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate drawings.
• Ensure that all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Review and verify design plans and make necessary adjustments for accuracy and practicality.
• Create detailed drawings for project phases including grading, drainage, utilities, and road layouts.
• Maintain and update project documentation and drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors and other construction personnel to ensure proper implementation of designs.
• Perform site visits to gather relevant data and verify existing conditions when necessary.

Experience:

• 1 to 2 years' experience as a Draftsman in the civil engineering field, with a solid understanding of civil design principles

Skills

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar CAD software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers, architects, and other team members.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
