KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nJob Specific Accountabilities\n•\tCoordinate available resources at site to ensure upkeep of cranes and lifting equipment and provide safe and efficient lifting services to meet the requirements of Operations, Maintenance and Projects\n•\tManagement of mechanical systems such as pedestal cranes, overhead cranes, davits etc. and other loose lifting equipment at site; ensuring lifting equipment and relevant personnel have valid and current certifications\n•\tManagement of Contractor’s personnel involved in crane maintenance and lifting operations\n•\tReview routine and ad-hoc maintenance procedures, lift plans and work permits such that all activities are performed safely and in compliance with the Company Standards..\n•\tProvide specialist support with regard to inspection, fault analysis and improved maintenance strategies for cranes and lifting equipment\n•\tProvide discipline input for any proposed engineering modifications or upgrade\n•\tProvide specialist support with regard to preparation and review of maintenance methods, lift plans and risk assessment\n•\tIndentify potential equipment failures and improvement opportunities\n•\tRaise work orders, preventive maintenance routines and material requests in MAXIMO\n•\tRaise as well as assist in closing punch points and observation records for non-conformances found during construction and commissioning of cranes and related systems\n•\tConduct safety and tool box talks, attend safety meetings, conduct safety observation tours\n•\tEnsure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.\n•\tAgree for Offshore work location based on rotation cycles as directed by ADNOC OFFSHORE HR policy.\n\nGeneric Accountabilities\nPolicies, Systems, Processes & Procedures\n•\tImplement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, to accomplish operational objectives.\nTraining\n•\tProvide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.\nInnovation and Continuous Improvement\n•\tContribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for optimising the maintenance strategy for cranes and lifting equipment.\nHealth, Safety , Environment (HSE) and Sustainability \n•\tComply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.\n•\tParticipate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.\nHousekeeping\n•\tMaintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during operations, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.\nReports\n•\tProvide inputs for Section Progress Reports\n•\tPrepare and monitor various KPI indicators related to cranes and lifting operations\n5. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:\nInternal\n•\tEffective communication (oral and written, in English) with all internal departments\nExternal\n•\tCoordinate the activities of Maintenance Contractors\n6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: \nMinimum Qualification\n\nGraduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent\n\nMinimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills\n•\tMinimum 15 years of experience in the discipline of maintenance engineering, out of which at least 10 years shall be in relevant senior role.\n•\tExtensive knowledge and demonstrable experience in Crane Maintenance (Preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, trouble shooting, modification, upgrade, overhaul etc.)\n•\tDemonstrable experience of preparation / review / approval of lift plans and exdcution of various category of lifts in an offshore environment\n•\tKnowledge of relevant industry standards (Specifically API 2C & RP 2D)\n\nProfessional Certifications \n•\tFull Membership of professional or statutory bodies or Chartered Engineer status\n•\tFormal education or training in Maintenance Engineering\n
