Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Procurement Engineer (Chief Engineer-Marine) to oversee the procurement process for marine engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing equipment, materials, and services needed for projects while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Job Responsibility:
1. Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing and terms for equipment and materials required for marine engineering projects.
2. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to determine procurement needs and specifications.
3. Evaluate supplier performance and maintain relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
4. Monitor inventory levels and track procurement activities to prevent shortages or overstocking.
5. Implement cost-saving initiatives and develop procurement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce project costs.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor\'s degree in marine engineering / Must have Chief Engineer COC of any Marine Vessel
2. Proven experience in procurement within the marine engineering industry.
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
4. Knowledge of technical specifications and materials used in marine engineering projects.
5. Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
