- Maintain a safe work environment. Demonstrate leadership with all companies, international associations and industry safe work processes to prevent incidents. Ensure proper documentation is maintained for safety related activities.
- Responsible for plant safety during the shift. Ensure that the plant site is following RIG HSE procedures all the time
- Conduct safety audits and take appropriate actions as necessary.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Hydrogen plant, including troubleshooting plant process problems, directly supervising daily plant activities and reporting to management. The Production Engineer is required to be able to start up, shut down or put the process into a safe position, escalating any abnormal situations to the operations Manager.
- Work alongside the Operations shift team to ensure adequate continuous operating cover, and additional cover if required in case of unplanned situations, even though start up and operation, ensuring 24-hour stable operation.
- Responsible for Plant efficiency and reliability.
- Work closely with the operation team to utilize the resources effectively to achieve productivity targets.
- Awareness of ISO 9001,14001 & 45001 management system.
- Maintain ISO QMS in the plant and able to carry out internal audits as per ISO 9001.
- Responsible for Production budget planning.
- Propose and execute improving initiatives following Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) principles.
- Plant process parameter analysis and performance monitoring
- Monitor and maintain good and safe working environment.
- Able to generate / update Standard operating procedures
- Conduct job risk assessment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in production engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on hydrogen production.
- Strong knowledge of hydrogen production processes and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Good understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in the oil and gas industry.
