JOB DESCRIPTION
Lead the development and publication of a comprehensive, annual, standalone Sustainability Report that highlights the Company\'s sustainability performance, commitments, and goals.
Oversee the preparation and communication of ESG performance reports and disclosures in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements and international best practices.
Contributing to ESG strategy by collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement the organization\'s ESG strategy, aligning it with best practices and stakeholder expectations.
Reporting ESG defined key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets for each ESG pillar (environmental, social, and governance).
Support Corporate Sustainability Director to draft and implement policies, procedures, and frameworks to guide ESG practices across the organization.
Oversee the collection and reporting of ESG data from various internal and external sources.
Regularly monitor progress towards ESG goals and targets, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions.
Raise awareness for JCDC employees on ESG initiatives, fostering a culture of sustainability and responsibility.
Respond to inquiries and address concerns related to ESG performance.
Ensure necessary engagement with internal and external stakeholders to respond to inquiries and address concerns related to ESG performance.
Collaborate with ESG Analysis Manager on the benchmarking activities by conduct research and implement industry best practices in ESG management.
Explore and utilize technology solutions to improve ESG data reporting.
Support in keeping abreast of ESG trends, regulatory developments, and best practices, and ensure that JCDC remains at the forefront of ESG in the real estate development sector.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization to integrate ESG considerations into decision-making.
Develop and implement employee training and engagement programs to promote ESG awareness and understanding of ESG issues and encourage employee participation in sustainability initiatives.
Lead the talent development initiatives for the assigned personnel, collaborating with discipline experts and thereby ensure the availability of talent to fit business requirements.
Coordinate the activities of the team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the annual business plans, policies and procedures.
Support Corporate Sustainability Director in the development and implementation of ESG-related policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives, including environmental management systems, sustainable supply chain practices, and social impact initiatives.
Ensure the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of ESG systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
Perform any related duties or assignments as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable university. (Master’s degree preferred)
Certifications or additional training in ESG, sustainability, or related areas will be an added advantage.
Minimum 10 years of experience in ESG/Sustainability or related field.
Proficient in English language is a must, Arabic language is preferred.
