Our client, a leading food manufacturing enterprise in the Middle East, is seeking a Processing Plant Engineering Manager for their poultry operations.
Opportunity:
Reporting to senior management, our client is looking for an experienced engineering professional to manage and develop a high-quality engineering service team for their processing plant.
Responsibilities:
The Processing Plant Engineering Manager will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality engineering services to the Processing Plant while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Developing a competent team through comprehensive training and motivation strategies.
- Ensuring full compliance with company policies related to Health, Safety, Security (HSS), and Bio-Security.
- Implementing and managing a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to support production targets.
- Coordinating with maintenance teams through supervisors and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Overseeing and maintaining various operational systems including mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
- Liaising between engineering teams and operational management to ensure optimal plant performance.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 10-12 years of experience in maintenance management within the poultry or food manufacturing industry.
- Expertise in developing and managing preventative maintenance programs.
- Comprehensive understanding of:
- Computer Control Systems (PLCs)
- Ammonia Refrigeration systems
- Mechanical equipment (conveyors, motors, gearboxes)
- Electrical distribution systems (generators, switchgear, Motor Control Centers)
- Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant operations
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Proven ability to implement and maintain high standards of operational efficiency.
Remuneration:
Overall package is highly competitive and tax-free and aims to balance work commitments and family time. As an indication salary, tax paid, will be €72,000 – €90,000 and additional benefits provided are:
