Project Manager - Civil Engineering
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in Civil Engineering to oversee and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, cost control, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee procurement processes and ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare regular project reports and updates for senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, and risk management.
- Experience in handling large-scale projects within budget and timeline constraints.
- Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP certification (preferred).
