Key Responsibilities:



-Manage the sales cycle from the contacts stage to the post-closing stage for all projects to ensure all customer requirements are well understood and responded to taking into consideration the capabilities offered by deugro.
-Contribute to the development and implementation of a Sales Plan.
-Deliver agreed revenue and share objectives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
-Provide weekly and monthly reports, data, research and market intelligence to the Branch Manager–Oman, highlighting business performance, competitive landscape and recommendations for increasing revenue.
-Review and track progress (self and team) against revenue and targets; analyse sales/ revenue reports; recommend and propose changes to existing plans and operating budgets; implementing approved changes.
-Work closely with other internal departments and stakeholders through regular meetings to ensure client/ contractual needs and expectations are communicated to achieve positive results,
-Proactively engage with the Operations Team to ensure all contractual requirements are well understood and ensure smooth on-boarding and execution of the contractual requirements.
-Proactively monitor and assess competitor initiatives; take tactical actions to counter, protect and build deugro’s position.
-Develop teamwork, demonstrating shared goals and values.
-Represent deugro internally and externally.
-Monitor receivables (days outstanding) for own controlled business and regularly take measures to meet set targets (KPI’s).
-Adhere to all company policies in areas of compliance, QHSES, code of Business Conduct, employee handbook etc.
-You may also be assigned such other duties as may become necessary at the discretion of the Management in any branch or office of the company and or its subsidiaries or Associate companies.
-Develops SOPs/processes to achieve operational alignment with client expectations and customer satisfaction and communicating this to the operations team.
-Maintain the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Sales Database and update with the quote activities.
-Should ensure availability and participation in all clients operational meetings as and when required and support sales, business development and branch management meetings upon request.
-Develop proposals/ quotations/tenders, ensuring client feedbacks and recording success and unsuccess reasons, which are fed back to the sales network for gathering information on client pricing strategies and competitors.
-Negotiate and close new business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
-Provide summary sales reports, travel/meeting reports, figures, etc as requested.
-Support marketing activities, including trade shows, client presentations, conferences, etc.
-Ensure all company policy, routines and standards are followed.
-Close coordination with pricing, chartering, dteq and FCL procurement.
-Attending and supervising vessel loading, cargo inspection and route survey.
-Follow any lawful directions given by the management.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:



-Knowledge in all major freight forwarding disciplines, that is, Air, Sea, Surface transport, industrial projects, oil & gas etc.
-Understanding of company strategy and products.
-Understanding of company rules and guidelines.
-Ability to close business & Strong Negotiation Skills.
-Achieving given targets for each year which will be covering minimum 3 times of cost to the company.
