Position: Microbiologist Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $40 - $60/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities Analyze the growth, structure, and behavior of microorganisms including bacteria and fungi. Study relationships between microorganisms and disease to support AI training. Evaluate the effects of antibiotics and other agents on microbial systems. Document experimental findings for integration into AI training datasets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scientific accuracy. Provide expert insights on microbiological processes and data interpretation. Apply structured evaluation frameworks to assess data quality.
Requirements Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field. Strong expertise in microbial systems including bacteria and fungi. Strong understanding of microbial structure, physiology, and behavior. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and scientific accuracy. Ability to work independently in remote environments. Experience documenting scientific processes and findings.
