Position: Linux-Based Post-Production Specialist (Cinelerra) Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $40 - $120/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities Lead editing, compositing, and finishing of high-resolution video using Cinelerra. Manage complex multi-track timelines for professional broadcast and digital production. Apply advanced compositing techniques including motion tracking, chroma keying, and effects layering. Optimize media handling and rendering pipelines for efficient workflows. Troubleshoot issues related to codecs, formats, and Linux-based systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to align on creative direction and deliverables. Maintain clear documentation of post-production workflows and best practices.
Requirements Strong experience using Cinelerra for Linux-based video post-production. Strong experience handling and optimizing high-resolution media files. Strong expertise in compositing, motion tracking, and color grading. Strong attention to detail in managing complex editing timelines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills in Linux-based environments. Ability to manage priorities in fast-paced, deadline-driven workflows.
