Are you a Server Engineer with expertise in server design, configuration, and installation? We are looking for a proactive, results-driven Engineer to become a key player in our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of server systems from sales and installation to management, optimization, and troubleshooting across a variety of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.

In addition to managing and optimizing enterprise-level IT systems, you will play a critical role in the sales and deployment of server solutions, ensuring that our infrastructure meets the highest standards of performance and security. Key Responsibilities:

• Server Sales & Installation: Collaborate with sales teams to recommend, configure, and install server solutions tailored to client needs. Manage the full installation process from planning to deployment, ensuring smooth setup and client satisfaction.
• Server Configuration & Optimization: Administer and configure servers across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms. Ensure high performance through regular updates, patch management, and troubleshooting of system issues.
• Active Directory (AD) Management: Utilize Active Directory to manage network resources, users, and permissions. Design and maintain AD domains, groups, and user access controls to ensure secure and efficient operations.
• Cloud & Virtualization Solutions: Deploy and manage virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix XenDesktop/VDI. Implement cloud-based solutions to drive scalable, flexible, and cost-effective IT infrastructures.
• System Monitoring & Incident Resolution: Proactively monitor the health of servers and related systems, identifying and resolving performance issues before they impact operations. Ensure system uptime and reliability through continuous monitoring and maintenance.
• Security & Patch Management: Lead efforts in patch management, vulnerability scanning, and security protocol enforcement to protect systems and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., sales, support, IT) to deliver tailored server solutions, assist with client projects, and support other departments with server-related tasks.
• Continuous Learning & Development: Stay current with emerging technologies in server management, cloud solutions, and security. Share knowledge with the team and contribute to ongoing professional development efforts.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in server installation, configuration, and management across multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux). Experience in configuring network solutions and SANs is essential.
• Sales & Client-Facing Skills: Experience working with sales teams to sell server solutions, providing technical expertise, and installing servers to meet client specifications and business needs.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, systems management tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible), and server technologies.
• Cloud & Virtualization Experience: Hands-on expertise with VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix XenDesktop/VDI, with a focus on deploying and managing virtualized environments.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostic Skills: Advanced problem-solving and diagnostic abilities, particularly for server and network-related issues. Strong focus on automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Security Knowledge: Solid understanding of patch management, security scanning, and vulnerability mitigation to maintain a secure IT infrastructure.
• Collaborative & Client-Focused: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with sales, support teams, and clients, ensuring smooth project execution and client satisfaction.

Educational Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred, though not mandatory.
