Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Chef to join our new restaurant in Doha/Quatar.
Responsibilities
-Lead and inspire our kitchen team to deliver excellence in food quality and service
-Create innovative and seasonal menus
-Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including inventory management, food preparation, effective cost control, sustainability and sanitation practices.
-Ensure consistency and high standarts in all dishes served and maintaining our reputation for culinary excellence
-Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve their potential
-Manage food costs and labor expenses to meet financial targets while maintaining quality
Mandatory requirements
-English knowledge
-Culinary arts degree or equivalent experience with profieciency in various cooking techniques and cuisines
-Proven experience as an head chef or in a leadership role in a high-volume kitchen not less than 10 years in industry
-Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead, motivate and inspire the team
-Creativity in menu development, culinary innovation and food presentation
-Strong financial acumen, relevant to labour and inventory cost control
