We are seeking an Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a 1 year Contract with possible extensions (Onsite) and to be based in Doha - Qatar.

Mission:

Cloud engineers are IT professionals who implement and manage cloud-based systems and services. They plan and migrate existing on-premise applications to the cloud, and manage day to day operations for cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions based on business and application requirements.
• Define and implement best practices for cloud architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborating with engineering and development teams to plan and implement optimal cloud solutions.
• Modifying and improving existing systems.
• Manage and operate cloud-based systems.
• Ensuring efficient functioning of cloud infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with the organization’s security policies and best practices in cloud security.
• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for cloud infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Regularly reviewing existing systems and turning for improvements.
• Perform capacity planning to anticipate future resource requirements.
• Implement scaling strategies to handle increased workloads efficiently.

Skills , Qualifications and experience required:

• Degree in computer science or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the field of cloud computing.
• Experience with CI/CD systems.
• Experience with SysOps.
• Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications preferred.
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Deep knowledge of major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Skills in configuring and managing cloud environments using user interfaces and command-line tools.
• Strong understanding of networking and security concepts in cloud environments.
• Experience in implementing security practices and compliance in the cloud.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams and explaining technical solutions.
• The ability to effectively keep up with technological developments and apply them to projects.
