Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cyber Security Sales Engineer at MATRIX BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY in Amman, Jordan. The role involves tasks such as conducting vulnerability assessments, ensuring application, network, and information security, and providing cybersecurity solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise and Solution Design:
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored cybersecurity solutions.
- Design and propose cybersecurity solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, SIEM, and other security products.
- SOC understanding.
- Prepare technical proposals, including architecture diagrams, bill of materials, and solution descriptions.
Client Engagement:
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients, illustrating how proposed solutions meet their security needs.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for clients during the sales process, addressing technical queries and concerns.
- Collaborate with customers to perform security assessments and gap analyses.
Sales Support:
- Assist in the preparation of RFP/RFI responses by providing technical expertise.
- Work with account managers to create compelling value propositions and competitive advantages.
- Provide ongoing technical support to the sales team, including training on new products and technologies.
Technology and Market Awareness:
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in cybersecurity, including new threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
- Attend industry conferences, webinars, and training sessions to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the vendors, engineering, sales, and support teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with company offerings.
- Provide feedback to product teams on customer requirements and market trends.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all presales activities, including customer interactions, technical designs, and proposals.
- Provide regular updates and reports to sales leadership on presales activities and pipeline status.
Qualifications
- Application Security and Information Security skills
- Expertise in Cybersecurity and Network Security
- Experience in conducting Vulnerability Assessments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Certifications in relevant cybersecurity fields are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
