We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Accountant with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Jordanian income tax regulations, labor cost, health insurance, social security, and bank settlement, along with proficiency in QuickBooks Online system and English language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage financial records and transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.


• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.


• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy.


• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of invoices.


• Prepare and file income tax returns in compliance with Jordanian tax laws.


• Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports and statements.


• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.


• Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.


• Support month-end and year-end close processes.


• Oversee labor cost accounting and reporting.


• Manage health insurance and social security contributions and filings.


• Perform bank settlements and ensure accurate and timely reconciliation.


• Audit salary payments and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a general accounting role.


• In-depth knowledge of Jordanian income tax regulations.


• Knowledge of labor cost accounting and reporting.


• Familiarity with health insurance and social security regulations.


• Experience in bank settlement and reconciliation.


• Understanding of salary restrictions and auditing processes.


• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online system.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Proficiency in English is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in IT field is preferred.
