Summary:

The Video Editor position is a key role in the production and post-production of video content. This role involves editing raw footage, adding effects/transitions, adjusting sound levels, and fine-tuning the content to ensure the high quality of the final product. The Video Editor will work closely with the production team to understand their requirements and deliver engaging and compelling video content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw video footage and add effects/transitions as necessary
  • Collaborate with the production team to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Maintain and improve existing video content for optimization and scalability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing video content
  • Provide creative input and ideas on how to improve video content
  • Document video editing processes and monitor the quality of content
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and adherence to editing standards at all times


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Cinematography or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in video editing or a related field
  • C1/C2 English proficiency
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
  • Experience with special effects, 3D and compositing
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in video files
  • Strong attention to detail and storytelling skills
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a team
