Responsibilities:

• Design of various Electrical systems (Lighting, small power, cable routing, earthing and lightning protection, load schedules, single line diagrams, photovoltaic systems, medium voltage networks, etc.) for various types of building & infrastructure projects.
• Perform design calculations for various Electrical systems.
• Attend the projects meetings and perform action on related agreed points.
• Coordinate with different Engineering disciplines (inter-disciplinary coordination), local authorities and Clients.
• Prepare the project drawings, list of drawings, etc.
• Prepare project documents including scope of work, specifications, design reports, bill of quantities, etc.
• Prepare project deliverables using BIM based software (Revit, Civil 3D).
• Deliver the project documents as per Company quality procedures and delivery timeline.
• Ensure electrical systems design compliance with the applicable Standards, Regulations and best practice.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronics or Energy Engineering from a reputable University.
• 3-8 years of experience of Electrical systems design for projects in GCC region (BIM based projects).
• Solid knowledge of electrical engineering basics.
• Solid knowledge of design for various systems.
• Excellent knowledge of local and international regulations (BS 7671, Saudi Building Code, Saudi Electricity Company Regulations, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority Regulations, etc.).
• Excellent command of design tools and software (Dialux, ETAP, PVSYST, etc.).
• High proficiency in using REVIT and Navisworks for design and modelling of electrical systems.
• Ability to perform design value engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of the products in the market and latest trends.
• High proficiency in communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent team player.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent logical thinking and ability to evaluate new approaches, systems and solutions.
• English: High Proficiency.
• Arabic: High Proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Computational Design and Dynamo BIM.
• LEED GA Certification.
