Role Description

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Accountant to join our team in Amman, Jordan. This position is initially a six-month full-time role with the possibility of extension and conversion to a permanent position depending on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process all incoming invoices and manage the accounts payable and receivable.
• Regularly run reports on outstanding and overdue receivables and payables.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Post-establishment responsibilities include cash flow modeling under various scenarios, analyzing customer profitability, and conducting special financial analyses as required.
• Communicate with and chase late payments from customers.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of accounting experience, ideally with a background in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint and Word.
• Direct experience with standard accounting package software (xero, sage, quickbooks) is a requirement; experience with Zoho Books a plus
• Fluency in English is required; German language skills are highly desirable to assist in customer communications.
