Bank of Jordan, a leading financial institution in Jordan, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Engineer Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the bank's contract management activities, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and optimizing the bank's contractual relationships.
As a Contracts Engineer Officer, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including internal departments and external vendors, to review, negotiate, and manage contracts. You will play a vital role in drafting contract documents, evaluating contractual terms and conditions, and ensuring that all parties fulfill their contractual obligations.

Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate contracts, including purchase agreements, service contracts, and vendor agreements, to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions and suggest modifications or amendments, as necessary, to protect the bank's interests
- Draft and prepare contract documents, including statements of work, change orders, and amendments
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify and address contract-related issues and risks
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to obtain necessary contract documentation and information
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, ensuring that all parties fulfill their contractual obligations
- Manage contract records, including tracking contract deadlines, renewals, and terminations
- Assist in resolving contract disputes and claims, as required
- Stay updated with legal and regulatory changes that may impact contract management practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in contracts management or a similar role
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles
- Experience in reviewing and negotiating contractual terms and conditions
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in contract management software and tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
