Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the school's curriculum team to develop a comprehensive and engaging teaching plan for the Middle School Math courses.
• Deliver dynamic and interactive math lessons that cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of middle school students.
• Foster a deep understanding of mathematical principles, problem-solving strategies, and critical thinking skills.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, real-world applications, and technology, to make math come alive for students.
• Introduce students to algebraic concepts, geometry, data analysis, and mathematical reasoning.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and builds students' confidence in math.
• Provide guidance and support to students as they navigate challenging math problems and concepts.
• Regularly assess students' progress through quizzes, tests, projects, and assignments, providing constructive feedback to promote growth.
• Use educational technology to enhance the learning experience and facilitate deeper understanding of math concepts.
• Maintain open communication with parents or guardians, sharing updates on students' academic performance and addressing any concerns.
• Use online resources and platform to support teaching.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Math Teacher, preferably in a middle international school setting.
• Strong command of middle school math concepts, algebra, geometry, and data analysis.
• Passion for teaching math and inspiring students' confidence and enthusiasm for the subject.
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging and effective math lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to foster a supportive and dynamic classroom environment.
• Proficient in English, with a very strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable integrating technology and educational tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Collaborative mindset, willing to work closely with colleagues and actively contribute to the school's academic community.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiar with Google for Education Products (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Chat)
• Proficient in using online learning platform such as Google Classroom is a plus.
