Job Summary

What does this role aim to achieve in the firm/what impact does the role create

As a Managed Services (MS) Technology Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic and tactical decisions concerning technology-centric products for use within PwC managed services solution offering. You will be asked to understand both client needs and industry trends. And provide concise recommendations a variety of solutions, from ERPs, to security & cloud native productive applications.

Roles And Responsibilities

Daily tasks and delivery expectation

  • Support the development and management of digital assets for managed services.
  • Support the recommendation of solutions such as ERPs, cloud applications/providers, cybersecurity suites, data mining tools, LLMs, workflow systems, CRM, BI, and CSM solutions within customer propositions.
  • Contribute to defining the technical skills required within the Managed Services desk(s) at PWC to operate such technology solutions.
  • Gather insights into key industry-demand technology skills.

  • Strong understanding of technology trends and their application in business contexts.

  • Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities to drive impactful technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, cloud platforms, cybersecurity protocols, data analytics tools, workflow automation, CRM systems, business intelligence tools, and customer service management solutions.
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing industry data to identify emerging technology trends and skills in demand.

Required Language Skills

Proficient in written and spoken English. Arabic is a plus.

Minimum Education And Specific Qualification

Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Certifications by professional technology institutes is desirable.

  • Given the rapid evolution of technology, ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and best practices are essential.
  • Participation in workshops, seminars, and obtaining certifications relevant to emerging technologies can enhance expertise and credibility in the field.
