Job summary: The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing testing procedures to ensure the quality and functionality of our e-invoicing system. The role involves working closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, document them, and ensure they are resolved before the product is released. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of software quality control processes, and experience with ERP or financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test & Validate: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure our e-invoicing system is top-notch.
- Test Automation: Develop test automation scripts.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of our QA processes and methodologies.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough test documentation, including test cases, defect reports, and user guides.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in quality control or software testing, preferably with ERP or e-invoicing systems.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing tools and practices.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and Newman.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Python is a plus.
- Knowledge of DevOps is a plus.
