What You Will Do


The Country / Sales Manager KSA (m/f/d) is a key role to drive our growth in Saudi Arabia and directly reporting to the Regional Commercial Director Middle East. As Country / Sales Manager KSA (m/f/d) you will be based in Saudi Arabia and be focused in expanding our footprint and customer base in the automotive industry for this region. You will be responsible to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.


As a Country / Sales Manager KSA (m/f/d) you will be accountable for the performance of the sales in Saudi Arabia by setting strategic goal and plans, which are consistent with the overall business objectives. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as your strong customer service orientation helps you to understand and address customer’s needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience with the overall goal of customers’ satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for developing sales of company products and/or services and all related sales and engineering activities to designated strategic or key clients.


Main Responsibilities


As a Country / Sales Manager KSA (m/f/d) you will use your experience and knowledge of the automotive and battery market in Saudi Arabia to


  • forecast and develop an annual sales plan, understand and monitor the market dynamics, exploring market opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to maximize margins while increasing market share.
  • build and develop existing and new sales and distribution channels to achieve sales targets through effective planning and implementing territory sales programs and field action plans.
  • lead by example, chasing, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities by creating competitive, high quality proposals and taking part in tendering and bidding processes.
  • Differentiate Clarios products, leveraging your deep market knowledge of the existing market strategies, products and services.
  • seek and develop long term customer relationships and drive your territory growth


What We Look For


  • University degree in Business Administration or in any related field
  • Advanced work experience in automotive industry, focused on battery sales in GCC countries and understanding of technical aspects related to the battery business
  • Experience in working within an international matrix organisation
  • Strong analytical skills and detail orientation
  • Ability to take ownership, entrepreneurial thinking and develop and implement short- and long-term territory sales programs and field action plans
  • Advanced proficiency in working independently, being pro-active and self-organized, solution driven and foster self-motivation
  • Ability to operate in an environment with multiple priorities managed simultaneously
  • Ability to build strong working relationships, managing the territory holistically and a high service- and customer orientation
  • Excellent communication and negotiation, planning and time management as well as teaming skills
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Willingness to travel locally within KSA and regionally up to 50%
  • KSA Driver's license
