Opportunity:
Louvre Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint an ‘IT Business Applications Unit Head’ to join Business Support team. The role holder will be responsible to ensures the alignment of the business information system with strategic orientations, business processes and end user’s expectations. The role holder will propose scenarios for the evolution of the information system applications in consistence with the business user needs and will be responsible for planning, designing, supporting, and maintaining the business applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the established departmental strategies, goals, methods, policies and procedures for implementing programs in alignment with Louvre Abu Dhabi’s strategic vision, mission and goals.
- Develop plans, inclusive of project funding, feasibility, staffing, and time constraints, ensuring the availability of required resources to carry out all tasks.
- Determine the organization business applications architecture in accordance with the Louvre Abu Dhabi’s policy within a secure environment.
- Support the team in the strategic decisions to enhance the service levels and business user satisfaction.
- Anticipate the long-term needs of the business and effectively influence the improvement of the organizational processes.
- Plan and Manage portfolios of current and new IT business projects and coordinate and manage interdependencies.
- Prepare the activities related to technology, project management, service management, change management and procurement & contracts.
- Manage the communication and relationship with different stakeholders throughout project stages.
- Test new versions of system software, investigate and coordinate the resolution of potential and actual service problems.
- Ensure that operational documentation for system software is fit for purpose and current needs.
- Evaluate risks that might affect the integrity of infrastructure inherent in proposed implementation.
- Review the effectiveness of change implementation and suggest improvements in procedures governing change management.
- Lead the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation of changes.
- Apply legal, policy and organizational guidelines and procedures in relation to procurement and contract management.
Required Qualifications & Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information System Management, Computer Sciences or IT Engineering or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Information Technology (IT) focused on business applications and information system business plan.
- PMP or PMBOK certification is preferred.
- Position is only open to Emirati (with family book) and must be fluent in English and Arabic.
