Urgently Hiring - Subcontract Engineer

Job Location:- Qatar

Contract Duration:- Permanent

Salary:- Up to 20,000 QAR + Benefits

Experience:- 11+ years of experience in subcontracts management EPC projects in the oil and gas industry.

Education:- Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Locally available candidates with valid QID

▪ Experience with SAP.

▪ Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

▪ Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Support for Project subcontracts Cost Estimation during proposal Stage.

▪ Subcontract planning - Support to the project team for subcontract plan, review and updating

on regular basis.

▪ Receipt of requisitions for Subcontracting, preparation of RFQs and floating enquiries.

▪ Receipt of bids and providing clarifications in consultation with the project team.

▪ Evaluation of bids - Drafting of LoI/Service Agreements/Service Orders/ Subcontracts in

consultation with the Contracts Manager.

▪ Change Order processing, variation, and new item rate analysis etc.

▪ Subcontract (Final Account) Close out.

▪ Shall have good knowledge of general terms and conditions of Contract of the construction

industry.

▪ Develop strategies and lead the commercial contracting negotiations for engineering &

construction subcontract categories aligning to project requirements.

▪ Identify potential subcontractors; understand safety, commercial and capacity risks.

▪ Subcontractor performance evaluation, Dispute Resolution with Subcontractors.

▪ Maintain database of vendors and comply with statutory ISO auditing systems.
