Position Purpose
Responsible for day-to-day IT operations, provide end user support and fix application and network issues, or any incident that is disrupting the application service that business users depend on.
Ensuring that the network and systems are fully operational, and any loss of service or communication network is restored in a timely and efficient manner.
Key accountabilities
· Provide Level 1 and 2 support for users within the required resolution time in order to enable smooth operations and ensuring that a high level of service and support is provided to all users promptly
· Ensuring that network and applications are fully operational, and any loss of service or communication network is restored in a timely and efficient manner
· Visit BOUNCE venues and travel as required to troubleshoot system and network related issues with immediate attention in order to fulfil the requirements of business
· Assist in monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Operating Systems, hardware, software, application systems, Wifi/network, CCTV and related computing environments for proactive measures to support availability of resources and reduce downtime of the business activities
· Maintain accurate records relating to incidents, requests, assets, licences and other aspects of IT service management to help manage the documentation standards of the organisation
· Undertaking and performing miscellaneous job-related duties/responsibilities as assigned by the HOD/Managers
Skills and Competencies
· Understanding of LAN/WAN, Networking, Firewall, and Windows servers
· Knowledge of support systems for servers, PCs, laptops, and mobile devices.
· Demonstrable knowledge of diverse systems including Point of Sale, Microsoft 365, ITAMS and PABX
· Understanding of Anti-Virus, Malware, Email security technologies and concepts
· Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and proficiency with desktop and end user support
· Ability to communicate in a professional manner
· Able to travel whenever necessary within UAE
Education & work experience
Degree or Diploma in the field of IT/Networking/Computing
Qualifications in Cisco, Microsoft or similar would be an added advantage
1-3 year experience in similar capacity
