Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee our sales operations and manage relationships with contractors, developers, and retail customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales management, excellent knowledge of building materials, and a proven track record in sales leadership. The Sales Manager will play a critical role in developing strategies to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and company objectives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in the building materials sector.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base through networking and relationship-building.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance performance and customer service.
- Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the products and market trends in the building materials industry.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and product offerings.
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, analyzing performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure product availability aligns with customer demand.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to stay ahead of market trends.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role, ideally within the building materials, construction, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of building materials and the construction industry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer inquiries effectively.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with suppliers, contractors, or construction professionals is a plus.
