Job Description

· Manage maintenance and repairs of reefers in and out of the workshop.

· Supervise and coordinate the maintenance, repair, and performance optimization of refrigerated trailer units (reefers).

· Work closely with the fleet operations and logistics teams to ensure that reefer trailers are available and ready for deployment according to the transportation schedules.

· Work closely with the QHSE team on qualification of reefers which includes thermal mapping, calibration and validation.

· Introduce a new system as a project management to keep track of records, follow-up with orders, parts arrival confirmations and current trailer status.

· Create improvement plans for maintenance processes and preventive maintenance.

· Undertake all levels of servicing, maintenance and repairs of all moving equipment, trailers.

· Capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion as well as supervising and guiding others.

· Provide technical guidance to maintenance teams.

· Ensure the workplace is clean, health and safety policies, procedures and regulations are followed.

· Prioritize and delegate work within the team

· Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the site

· Ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.

· Approve documentation of all maintenance activities.

· Manage the monthly and annual budget for the department.

· Manage reefer section performance in achieving Key Performance Indicators

· Attend the meeting with the customers once required

· Communicate with the internal department operation and customer service

· Provide report on reefer performance weekly/Monthly to the CEO.
