Salesforce Administrator

Purpose and Scope of Position

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform. This role will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes.



Key Responsibilities

• System Configuration and Maintenance

  • Perform Salesforce configuration changes, including but not limited to user setup, profiles and roles, custom objects, new fields, page layouts, workflows, process builder, and validation rules.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to ensure data visibility and business intelligence.
  • Ensure data integrity by performing regular data audits and validation, including data cleansing.

• User Support and Training

  • Provide user training and support to ensure effective use of the platform.
  • Create and maintain training materials and documentation for users and administrators.

• System Enhancement

  • Work with stakeholders to define business requirements, processes, and objectives to scope projects and deliverables.
  • Evaluate and implement new Salesforce features and functionalities to optimize platform efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to manage integrations with other systems and third-party applications.

• Compliance and Best Practices

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as industry standards.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce best practices and product updates, and advocate for their implementation within the organization.

• Project Management

  • Lead and manage projects, including defining project scope, timelines, and resources, and ensuring timely delivery. 4/12 MC Acuative Corp. Proprietary 2.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to prioritize tasks and manage project progress.


TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality

• Proficiency with Salesforce configuration, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls.

• Experience with data management, data modeling, and data transformation

• Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs is a plus


Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

• Salesforce Administrator certification

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information appropriately

• Experience in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word


Additional Qualifications Desired

• Salesforce Advanced Administrator or other related Salesforce certifications

Physical Demands
