About the role:


The Inside Sales Officer supports the Electrical Division's sales operations by managing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, and ensuring the smooth coordination of sales processes. The role requires a strong technical background in electrical products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.


What you will work on:


  • Technical Support: Provide customers with accurate and reliable technical solutions that align with their specific needs and product requirements. This involves assisting customers in understanding complex technical details and delivering customized recommendations to ensure compliance with industry standards and to meet or exceed customer expectations, ultimately building trust and supporting long-term customer satisfaction.


  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including market research, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events in order to generate new leads and build a qualified sales pipeline that aligns with the company’s target market and strategic growth objectives.


  • Customer Satisfaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and expectations. To ensure a higher customer satisfaction and retention, while building long-term trust and loyalty.


  • Bid fulfillment: Study, analyze each bid technical specifications including testing, certification requirements and inspection level and commercial requirement that’s include required delivery terms, time and delivery location to ensure that customer's needs and requirements are met, and to identify any potential issues or challenges that may need to be addressed.


  • Negotiating: Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, partners, and customers to ensure the organization's interests are protected and that favorable terms are secured.


  • Offers Evaluations: Evaluate received offers from vendors technically and commercially including requested specifications, lead time, payment terms, delivery terms, currency, logistics details (weight and volume), packing details, offer validity, and supporting documents such as (TDS, DWG, Catalogues) in order to select the best competitive offer.


  • Ensure data quality on CRM: Update & maintain accurate sales pipeline and opportunity records through data validation and data cleansing on the company MIS (include but not limited to SAP B1, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamic) to ensure that all sales opportunities are tracked and updated regularly and filled according to the company standard.


  • Company Profitability (Orders Profit): Implement sales strategies in order to achieve gross profit and sales targets.


  • Handle post tender clarification: Respond on timely manner to customer technical/commercial clarifications and questions, to ensure that customers have all the information they need to make informed purchasing decisions in order to build customer trust and satisfaction, and to resolve any issues that may arise during the sales process, which include responding through customer portal and attending teams technical meeting with customer and suppliers and facilitate communications between both to close open points in correct manner.


  • Project coordination: Prepare and distribute project documentation, including reports, and meeting minutes, and communicate project updates to track and record projects sufficiently




Your Areas of Expertise:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering (Preferred Electrical & Mechanical).
  • 1+ Experience required in Inside Sales.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, products, and standards is preferred.
  • Proven experience in working with tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Sales Processes in managing the sales cycle from inquiry to delivery.
  • CRM: using customer relationship management (CRM) like Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamic is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to maximize productivity and achieve sales targets.
