Background:
JOHUD, through its Inclusion program, offers therapeutic sessions for people with disabilities at the Rehabilitative Services Unit in Hashmi AlShamali, accessible to Syrian, non-Syrian, and host community members, including persons with disabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
The Physiotherapist is responsible for promoting, maintaining, and restoring health through physical assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and rehabilitation. Key duties include:
- Evaluating physical disabilities from neurological disorders, stroke, or other causes.
- Developing individualized treatment plans.
- Providing physiotherapy sessions and training patients/families for home exercises.
- Consulting with specialists to ensure high-quality physiotherapy services.
- Maintaining a database of treated cases and updating patient-related documents.
- Conducting field visits, monitoring patient progress, and following up during therapy cycles.
- Performing other related tasks as assigned.
Education/Experience/Language Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and Ministry of Health Practice License.
- Experience: Minimum of two years' post-graduation experience in physiotherapy, with NGO experience preferred.
- Languages: Good command of Arabic and English.
