Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Procurement Engineer with extensive experience in international procurement practices. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of electro-mechanical systems and be adept at managing services contracts considering tax and legal implications. This role requires an analytical mindset and a proactive approach to sourcing and vendor management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s objectives and electro-mechanical requirements.
- Manage the entire procurement process, from vendor selection and negotiation to contract execution and performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with international procurement standards and Incoterms.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement activities.
- Collaborate with the legal department to ensure contracts are compliant with applicable taxes and legal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Provide technical guidance on the specifications of electro-mechanical components and systems.
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and resolve any procurement-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement within a technical field, preferably in electro-mechanical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of international procurement practices and Incoterms.
- Experienced in drafting and managing service contracts, with a solid understanding of tax and legal implications.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in ERP and procurement software.
