Job description:
Ecological Field Surveys: Conduct ecological surveys, assessing biodiversity and ecosystem health in various habitats.
Biodiversity Monitoring: Carry out biodiversity monitoring with advanced techniques, including sampling design, field surveys, data analysis, and species identification.
Technical Review of Ecology Chapters: Provide expert reviews of specialist chapters in ecological assessments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA): Lead the development of ecological impact assessments, contributing to the EIA process and ensuring all potential ecological impacts are identified and mitigated.
Deliverables Preparation: Produce essential ecological management plans, protected species reports, and other documentation necessary for project approval and monitoring.
Report Writing: Draft comprehensive biodiversity monitoring reports, baseline surveys, and strategic plans with strong analytical detail and scientific accuracy.
Biodiversity Survey Design & Planning: Design and execute detailed biodiversity surveys, identifying suitable methods for sampling and data collection.
Qualifications: Degree in Ecology, Zoology, Botany, or a related subject.
Proficiency in GIS tools for ecological mapping and spatial data analysis.
Excellent technical writing skills.
Experience 3-5 Years GCC experience
