District Manager - Risk and Compliance | MAF Retail | Head Office Jordan
Role Summary
The Manager - Risk and Compliance is responsible for supporting Vice President – Risk and Compliance in developing policies and procedures and ensuring its implementation across the countries. The role holder will also be responsible for assisting in identifying potential risks and contributing to the development of action plans to ensure safe conditions for assets, merchandise and environment.
ROLE PROFILE
- Coordinate and follow up with that all Countries’ to ensure alignment with the security policies and procedures
- Assist the Vice President Risk and Compliance with developing and implementing risk management and Risk and Compliance initiatives
- Contribute to development of recommendations and solutions for disasters and other crisis situations
- Recommend improvements and new developments on the Risk and Compliance systems
- Facilitate coordination with the international security and medical assistance service providers and update the documentation
- Participate in investigations of fraud cases such as employee theft, breach of ethics, corruption and violations of Risk and Compliance policies and recommend resolutions when required
- Identify potential risks and propose action plans to ensure safe conditions for assets, merchandise and environment
- Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a closely related field.
- 5+ years' professional experience in similar function, 2+ years in retail.
- Proficient expertise in Microsoft Excel.
- Good business communication and presentation skills and excellent project management.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Analytical and decision-making abilities.
