About The Job

Senior Talent Acquisition is an essential member of our Human Resources department, responsible for a range of recruitment and operations designed to facilitate effective sourcing and recruitment, maintain comprehensive onboarding records, and streamline recruitment processes. This role is suited for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about recruitment and dedicated to enhancing stakeholders. The Senior TA specialist will act as a pivotal link between candidates and hiring managers, manage various aspects of the hiring process, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our TA operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing Candidates:

  • Proactively identify and engage with qualified candidates for current job openings using a variety of channels. This includes leveraging job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and employee referrals to attract top talent.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to build a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future positions.

Mediator Role

  • Serve as an effective intermediary between candidates and hiring managers. Facilitate clear and open communication to ensure that both parties are well-informed throughout the recruitment process.
  • Address and resolve any concerns or issues that arise between candidates and hiring managers to maintain a positive and professional recruitment experience.

Process Coordination

  • Oversee the entire hiring process, from the initial job posting to the final offer and onboarding. This includes crafting and posting job advertisements, scheduling and conducting interviews, and managing the offer process.
  • Ensure that all steps in the hiring process are executed efficiently and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Networking

  • Engage with potential candidates through professional groups, social media, and industry events. Build and maintain relationships with potential hires to create a network of talent for current and future hiring needs.
  • Attend job fairs and networking events to represent the company and attract top talent.

Collaboration With Hiring Managers

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and define the qualifications and skills required for new roles.
  • Assist in creating accurate and compelling job descriptions that align with the company’s needs and attract suitable candidates.

Screening Applicants

  • Review resumes and job applications to identify candidates who meet the qualifications and requirements of open positions.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates' suitability and fit for the role, followed by organizing and conducting in-depth interviews as necessary.

Metrics Tracking

  • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and sources of hire to assess the effectiveness of the recruitment process.
  • Use data to identify trends, make informed decisions, and continuously improve recruitment strategies.

Candidate Experience

  • Gather and analyze feedback from candidates regarding their recruitment experience to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement enhancements to the recruitment process based on feedback to ensure a positive candidate experience.

Training And Advising

  • Provide training and guidance to hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques, assessment methods, and best practices in recruitment.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in HR and recruitment to offer relevant and timely advice.

Event Participation

  • Organize and participate in job fairs, recruitment events, and other industry-related activities to promote the company and attract potential candidates.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to keep them engaged and informed.

Database Management

  • Maintain and update a comprehensive database of potential candidates for current and future job openings.
  • Ensure that the database is accurate, organized, and easily accessible for future recruitment needs.

Proven Experience

Requirements And Skills

  • Demonstrated 5 years in experience in a recruitment role, including hands-on experience with major job boards like Monster and Indeed.
  • Proficiency in utilizing social media and professional networking sites like LinkedIn and Facebook for sourcing candidates.

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage and streamline the recruitment process.
  • Competency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.

Communication Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and interact with diverse groups.

Team Orientation

  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to support and assist colleagues in various HR functions as needed.

Educational Background

  • A degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Additional certifications or training in HR or recruitment would be an advantage.
