Job Summary
Location: Kherbet Al Souq - Sahab
As an Inventory Supervisor, you'll oversee and manage the inventory control operations within our warehouse or facility. Your primary responsibility is to ensure accurate inventory records and efficient stock management. You'll lead a team and collaborate with various departments to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory items.
- Implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Monitor inventory movements and ensure proper handling to prevent damage or loss.
- Supervise and guide inventory staff, assigning tasks and ensuring they're carried out effectively.
- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills in inventory management.
- Analyze inventory data regularly to identify trends, forecast stock needs, and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and any issues affecting stock accuracy.
- Continuously evaluate inventory procedures and recommend improvements to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Implement best practices for inventory management to optimize workflow and reduce errors.
- Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and compliance with inventory control standards.
- Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and other departments to coordinate inventory activities.
- Communicate effectively with top management to address inventory-related issues and maintain smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data analysis.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage a team and collaborate across departments.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices.
