MARS Robotics is looking for a passionate, self-driven Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineer—whether you’re an experienced professional or a fresh graduate—to join our R&D Navigation team and become part of our Sensor Fusion Group.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Solid foundation in linear algebra and mathematics.
- In-depth knowledge of sensor characteristics, sensor calibration, expertise in sensor fusion techniques, and proficiency in digital filtering and data preprocessing.
- Proficiency in statistics and control theory.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm testing and simulation.
- Proficiency in C/C++ or Python for algorithm development and sensor integration.
- Fast learner, motivated, team-oriented, and good skills in scientific research.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Any previous practical experience/knowledge in any of these fields is highly preferred: LiDAR technology, camera integration, Kalman filtering, particle filtering, GNSS navigation, robot localization, SLAM algorithms, autonomous vehicles, and visual navigation.
- General knowledge of guidance systems and flight control systems.
- Hands-on experience with autonomous systems like drones, ground robots, or UAVs.
