Job Description
We are seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with developmental delays and disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), sensory integration issues, and other related conditions. The therapist will focus on enhancing fine motor skills, cognitive development, sensory regulation, and functional independence in children through personalized therapy plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess children’s motor, sensory, and developmental needs to create tailored treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group occupational therapy sessions targeting motor coordination, sensory integration, and self-care skills.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to track progress and modify interventions as needed.
- Use various therapeutic techniques, activities, and tools to engage children in therapy.
- Monitor and document each child’s progress through regular assessments and reports.
- Educate and support families on strategies to continue therapeutic activities at home.
- Work closely with other therapists to provide interdisciplinary care.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- License or eligibility for licensing with DHA (Dubai Health Authority).
- Experience in pediatric occupational therapy is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of sensory integration, motor planning, and developmental milestones.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to the needs of each child.
