POSITION SUMMARY
Arzaq is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Amman, Jordan. This role involves planning, developing, coordinating, supervising, and monitoring onsite construction engineering activities for projects, including comprehensive fit-out coordination.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical support for resolution and tracking of project issues.
Assist with fit-out activities, including the installation of interior finishes, fixtures, and systems. Ensure that fit-out work aligns with project specifications and schedule, and address any issues that arise during this phase.
Manage all project document control.
Process submittals and RFI’s.
Support Procurement in the distribution of bidding documents and tracking of bidders.
Maintain project schedule.
Prepare and issue meeting minutes.
Assist with planning and managing site logistics.
Enforce corporate safety policies on jobsite.
Receive and review/evaluate contractor quotations for changes and process change orders.
Manage plan review and approval process with local and state municipalities.
Preparing shop drawings according to the design with modifications
Coordinate subcontractor’s work and material/equipment release to hit targeted installations dates
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architecture.
4-5 years engineering, construction management or related degree.
2-3 years of relevant professional experience in fit out industry.
PMP certificate is a plus.
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to be self-directed in problem-solving.
